When I wrote to them, the staff, asking for possible chances of making free items available internationally, they declined.
Still, they continue bringing new free items to particular countries.
And I want to get them. And I will. By using proxies.
My views haven't changed - I believe in equality and if one country have the items - I think everyone should be able to get them. It was what this blog was and has been about - steps on how how to get certain items for free.
I wish I had any power over fact on having items available without proxies. But it's not how things work. I am not part of the people who work on stardoll.
Now comes your decision - as using proxies is now considered as breaking a rule -
(even though using them had been forbidden and not suggested for like two years)
The staff just doesn't want us having cheats, therefor they are trying to break the core - making it as if illegal.
I don't believe in fact that they will do any harm to anyone even if you use proxies.
(to their system it just looks as you have logged on in different country, and they did nothing to fight against proxies for past years, so this to me seem like just a formal change)
The proxies posted here have been and will be ALWAYS checked by myself, my own account.
Non of them are in any way affilated with other stardoll users. The proxies aren't created by me, but by adults for pass the net, I don't think any of them have the slightest idea why we even use their service for a dress-up site.
I always have tried everything by myself before posting here, so it has always been my own risk first - seeing if there might be any viruses/problems caused. But I have had my account for 7 years on stardoll without any problems because of using proxies. It has been safe and sound.
Still - I had to write this as describing the situation to fact that I can't take responsibilities to what might happen. Stardoll staff might be thinking of more restrictions coming up soon.
If anything ever goes wrong and getting freebies become dangerous for your account -inform us. Asap. If everything goes down in future for using proxies - This blog won't be an ongoing concept. At least not in a way it has been.
For all these 4 years since this blog has been up and running, all I have wanted was to have a helpful guide on getting some free items. Without charge. I can't even imagine how stardoll looks to the new members who join nowadays, having everything - every-little-thing with a cost so unreal. Plus the SS only/SR only items. It's unneeded. I disagree with these limitations more than anyone. But stardoll right now has set a goal to make every single member to pay - all the time reminding of the chances that Superstars have. But it's just a virtual world which you can't brag about to friends.
Even though stardoll has given a lot of amazing chances getting to know truly lovely people who have been my friends for years, it has developed my interest in fashion that has influenced my real life style, even the blogosphere and social networks started to me through this site - now, now they are making me as the bad guy (girl) in this current situation - when actually this blog was one thing I had done and felt proud. I really felt proud.
Questionable thing, though - is your choice.
I have never forced anyone to do anything, this blog has been a free will place. Where you choose items and whenever you like them - you give them a go and try and get them. Either the proxies mentioned, searched by yourself or manual ones. But the ones here are checked by me. Each and every.
If anyone of you ever get a message from stardoll stating that you are breaking the rules - let us all know, immediately. If anyone will get any charges or get in trouble about use of proxies, this blog will have to have another format to keep things up to date.
Till then, till moment when things go serious I will continue as before. Being a rebel, being a member who thinks we deserve to get what we can.
